Just spoke with the very helpful Ruth via email. Apparently I was there all along on 10D, but got truncated.

Tonight Matthew, I will be Mark James of Camorbey Park Archers. There was me was searching for Constable and Lamorbey ;-)

I'm on all three versions of the target list! Target 2 - the sheltered end!

And as an added bonus, between Samantha and Stephanie!

I'll introduce myself then - although right up the other end. Is there a big difference in the sheltered/exposed end?

Look forward to seeing you!

No, it's actually a lovely ground, lined on three sides by trees, and the wall of leylandii behind the targets gives a great backdrop. I *think* there's room for about 40 targets, so you'll only be slightly exposed.

Without a 10 minute gale nicely bracketing the first dozen!

I just wanted to thank all involved with this tournament - a truly outstanding weekend's competition. Rivernook Bowmen were just so organized.

Nice to meet a few more AIUKers, as well as seeing the very helpful Mr Potts in action for the first time. Talk about a plan coming together - I never thought i'd be so happy about going out in the first round.

I have to agree this shoot was run very well. Shame my shooting didn't meet the high standards. Still, it was a great experience and fun trying to distract the Elite archers during the medal matches (just mention food )

I also got to do something most people never get to experience - hiding! Or should I say acting as an archer's agent and being in the hide during a medal match. Those compound arrows come out of nowhere and THWACK. Even surprised the judge, who dropped her walkie talkie (it *was* 10!).

Entertaining commentary by Michael Peart, too. He deserved every drop of that beer!

Thanks to Rivernook and well done to all the archers who shot their sock/s off!
