Weights for Barebow

Hello,
I'm currently shooting a Hoyt Nexus riser as a barebow archer and have started getting into the idea of adding weight to the bow for extra stabilisation. I understand that this is legal providing you can still fit through the 12cm hoop and you don't have any weights that can cause a damping effect on your bow. Therefore does anyone know of anyone who manufactures weights that can be used for barebow and where I can get these?

Many thanks

Simon

Is this actually legal according to FITA rules? Maybe I would ask a judge that we have in our club. I have tried something like that, just for fun and it actually works quite well. But I thought it was not legal (I have got some different information on that, so I am not sure now).

There is no problem in adding weight to the bow as long as there is no dampening effect {rubber or fibre washer between the weight and bow} The added weight increases stabilisation and is fita legal providing, as stated, it fits through the ring. Most barebow archers end up making their own weights

Yes, it is correct. I just found it in the FITA rules book 4. Weight(s) are allowed as well as torque flight compensators (what ever that is?).

Then maybe I would consider to buy such a weight.
