BLBS membership?

Does anyone have this year's membership card or this year's guide? I've not received anything yet!

Hi Chaps,
I phoned Rita Ellis a few days ago to ask about the Spring Albion as I hadn't heard anything either. She told me cards and events guides should arrive this week.

Received today.
Looks like we've parted company from Roving and Flight.

It appears BLBS want to get back to core principles and concentrate on two way clout and target. I joined Fraternity of Saint George for roving and flight, I now get the best of both worlds. I must admit I'm a little disappointed the "Spring Albion" is no longer an Albion but a Long Nat and a Nat, I like the Albion round. I shall still go though and expect I will still enjoy the day.

How do I join The BLBS - hopefully be getting my first longbow in a few weeks - can't wait to have some fun with it - mind you need to make some arrows first.

I seem to have received my membership card and new rules, but nothing telling me of forthcoming events.

I really want to shoot against the best longbowmen out there but have already booked up most weekends this summer doing GNAS comps. I still have no idea when any BLBS events are being held.

Can anyone inform me of particular weekends to keep clear for major BLBS competitions? I think one is late September and conflicts with GWAS Inter-County shoot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers Cloutman-mine too.

I wish they could send them earlier though, I'm going to struggle to fit some in.

Never go a reminder for the subscription, but still got the events guide. Weird! Anyone know if the subs are still £4?
