Now i believe that thumb rings are illegal in GNAS shooting. However, not actually knowing what constitutes a thumb ring, I think the only stipulation is Rule 206.e.i, which says hand protection must not "incorporate any device to hold, draw and release the string". Clear as mud as usual.
