Records software or spreadsheet

Our club is very small and only a few members actually record scores etc. but our records secretary is giving up archery and it appears that I may be taking over as records secretary (how did that happen? I think everyone else took one step back when I wasn't looking!).

Anyway, up to now records have been kept manually but we are having a recruitment drive and i would like to store all of this information electronically which brings me to the point.

Is there a piece of software designed for this or do others just use a basic Excel spreadsheet? I would be grateful for some advice on this as I really don't want to spend ages designing and building a spreadsheet if there is already something in existance.

Joe Tapley of this forum has a good bit of software for this. I used it to keep records for a number of archers at my last club.I still use it for my personal records because it does all I need. Clubrecs is the program - perhaps google it, unless someone has an up to date link?

I've looked everywhere but can't find a good link to Clubrecs. Does anyone have a copy I could download or copy?

Sent you a PM.

Joe's site moved to

TOPICS ON ARCHERY MECHANICS

It appears that the club records software is no longer in the download section

Must remember not to post a link like the one above again. The resulting bandwidth blitz resulted in my ISP taking my web space off line.

Joe,
Sorry, I was one of those... When running setup.exe I get "parameter is incorrect". Any thoughts?

Hi I need some help

I keep getting an error message saying the '01/07/2009' is not a valid date.
When try to create a new record in maintain records section.
I have tried different date configurations with the same result.
Any ideas or is it user error?

Thanks

Recurve FS Seed #23
I've just downloaded the program - seems pretty good.

I did come across a small error....

I have setup the various indoor rounds, and starting inputing some of my scores. When you apply the entry you get an error about "Age" field....

I am guessing that this is referring to Senior/junior etc. When you go to look at the club records report, there is nothing for indoor.

Any suggestions???

Have used club records for a number of years but have never used for indoor rounds, so have just tried one, I receive the same error, looks like a bug that has always been there.

I have also used it for some time for both indoor and outdoor rounds for a number of archers but not for juniors. Tried to replicate the two previously mentioned errors by entering a 'dummy' junior and some data and all seems fine. The date especially is particularly lenient at allowing different inputs.

Darthter,

I have used the program to record Seniors and Juniors scores (Indoor and Outdoor) without any real problems for several years now
(many thanks Joe)

Have you set up the junior member correctly?
Does the error relate to an age group change (ie a birthday has occured which takes the junior into another age group)

A screenshot of the error might help

Steve
