Last Night Of Shooting for 8 weeks minimum

Well the time has come. Tonight after a busy day at work and a long work training meeting straight after work I will head off to my last night of shooting.

Wednesday is the day of my operation which should see me out of action for at least 6-8 weeks before I shoot any kind of bow again.

Such a shame as I was really getting in to this year.

Not really looking forward to a hard sumemr and winter of physio and training to get back shooting the way I have been this year.

Hopefully it will all be worth it in the long run!

Wish me luck!

Best of luck Neo. Don't stay away from the forum though just because your not shooting keep everyone updated on how it goes and where your at with physio. when it comes to the physio do as your told and don't rush things. They know what they are talking about. Work hard at it and you will be back better than before. Have a to keep you going, and expect an update by Friday.

Good luck and please listen to medical advice and make sure you do the full recovery. Archery isn't going anywhere and you're still young with a lifetime of shooty ahead of you (as long as you're not silly and try to shoot before your body is ready!!).

Let us know how you progress.

Good Luck Neo

Listen to Clickerati and Heroblob and DON'T rush things when you are in recovery.

Hopefully Bald Eagle and Co can be the 'enforcers' cos I know what you are like!

I am sure you will come back better than ever, just make plans for how many rounds you are going to 'max'.

Regards

Dave

First "job" he'll get is chief score adder upper at the Teesside champs in September. We are hosting it this year so he will be checking everyone in and making sure all the scores are correct at the end. No doubt his "oppo" JET will be assisting him!

Enjoy following your exploits on here, Neo old sport.

ATB for a speedy recovery. Well not too speedy (see below - or above if you're wedded to a trad view). But not drawn out either. So I hope it occurs in the optimum timeframe.
