Dodgy ebay item ?????

This item, 320373721758, on ebay doesn't look right to me. The guy selling it claims to be an experienced archery giving up his "favourite sport" due to injury but he doesnt seem to know what his kit is. The bow appears to a 2006 Ultratech but is described as an XT2000 bow. Any experienced compound shooter knows this is just the limbs but someone else would think this is the bow type as it's the largest writing on the bow. Also the release aid is described as a "quick release trigger". No description on the arrows, spine etc, no draw length, no cam description. Anyone missing an Ultratech ?? maybe legit but stange for an experienced archer to sell kit this way.

I asked for the drawlength and weight but as yet haven't received a reply yet theres about 5 bids on it. Strange bidding without knowing some crucial info. I too was drawn to the 'quick release trigger' description of the release aid and it says XT200 limbs not XT2000.

Lets just hope it's not a dodgy item.

I thought that as well. Who would bid on a bow without the specs kinda critical to most archers. The bidders could be bogus or have the info by PM but normally this would be posted up for the benifiet of other bidders along the lines of "sorry left this info off"

Strange, anyone else

James and I have also asked questions and as yet have had no replies. I agree it is very odd indeed.

I've asked questions on it too. Hopefully if we get enough people bombarding him with questions and it is dodgy kit he might get suspicious and pull the listing. Or maybe not!!

Who cares what the specs are if it's £90... I'll take it for that much.

Point I'm making is the sort of person putting bids in are the same as the seller, somebody who hasn't really got a clue about it but wants a bow at a cheap price.

I'm sure many people have met the sort of person who gets in to something without having any clue about it and goes off an purchases equipment which is totally unsuitable, this could be such a case.

I'm not for a second saying it doesn't sound iffy, especially as mentioned the combination of their favourite sport and total lack of critical info.

He also refers to a centraliser. Does he mean stabiliser, or is this some some arcane darkside thing?

Which suggests to me that while the seller can read, I doubt he's an archer, even a compound one....

Whilst he may be able to read, he can't copy as Beiter only has one "t" - and why not mention the Spot Hogg arrow rest??

if he's a tealeaf, then he's not being very smart about it. If someone lifted my kit first place I would start looking for it would be on ebay (followed by a dodgy pub about 1/2 mile from the house).
And I'd certainly offer to go pick it up ... the baseball bat I would bring with me would simply be a courtesy detail.
