Unhappy Irritated

I decided on monday to buy a new backpack for my kit instead of carting it all around in my vanguard case - theres nothing wrong with the case its just too big for me

Anyway, I went to a few websites specifically looking for the SF Elite Backpack - I dont know I guess I just like the SF look

So anyway, I decide to try the Archerypro website as it gives 5% back to my club and the prices seem reasonable... So I placed my order on monday, I got a call yesterday saying that the item wasnt available, ok I said, let me know if you can get it, if not i'll find something else. - Fair enough.

What isnt right is that im still waiting for a simple answer to the question and the money has been taken out of my account, better yet when I call the number all I get is O2 or Orange answerphones for both numbers Oh and my emails have not been replied to.

I know perhaps It might seem that I havent waited long enough, but surely an email reply or even being able to speak to someone is not to much to ask... or is it? I know they were having problems at Christmas, but archerypro.... its APRIL now, sort it out!

rant o/

I hope there is not a problem with Archery Pro, as I've ordered a wrist release from them, money been taken, no product as yet and again no reply to an e-mail that I have sent

Thanks for the replies and links, I did try and do a search before I made my post but couldnt find anything - probably looking for the wrong key word or something

I'm very dissapointed to hear that there are so many others that have had the same problem and will make sure I let the chairman of my club know about the problems so that maybe some of our members dont fall into the same hole!

It seems to me if they continue to screw archers around they will soon find themselves out of business as lets face it, word does seem to get around in our excellent sport.

On a bright note, I did just find the performance-archery.tv website and enjoyed watching Alistair's podcasts

Its all too easy to operate a web based business, possibly from a garage or front room where you don't have to face the customer, a slick web site, and enticements of 5% discounts are all well and good but if your customer service is terrible and you don't respond to customers. your outlook for the long term is bleak to say the least!
I looked at their site and enquired about a Delta practice butt, asking for a picture and suitability, over 3 weeks ago via e mail and have yet to receive a response so I don't think i'll be giving them my business.
As far as them not responding to you after they've taken payment for an item they cannot source I would contact them once more via e mail give them 7 days to respond (print a copy) and then contact your card provider and let them deal with it for you.

This is why I stick to a core of established and trusted suppliers who give excellent customer service.

Just to let you know that CBA are offering the new SF Elite Backpack at £43.07

Thanks for the link, yes I agree in the future I will stick to the usual shops I buy from.

Not all bad, another shop I bought something else from the same day provided me with excellent service - thanks Perris!

I finally managed to speak to someone at Archery Pro today and gave them an ear bashing, so if I dont receive my item soon I will certainly take it to my bank to deal with.

I don't tend to deal on the internet when it comes to archery stuff. I just go to the archery pro shop not far from where we live. If he hasn't got it, then he'll tell me.

Saves money and hassle in the long run.

Hi Sunmouse,

There is only a very small shop where I live (unless I drive 50/60 miles) and it doesnt stock much so choices are limited. I'm quite picky (call it a woman thing lol) normally if you go to a good online shop I have no problems. However, on this occasion I tried someone new and wish I hadn't bothered!!

I'm sure it will come good in the end, i'll either get a refund or my item will show up.

Yeah a lot of of us in the North East used to do just that, but then due to the credit crunch our local store shut down. So now its the internet or a long drive.

it irritates me when anyone takes money out of your account, when they havn't even got the product themselves.
