Traditional archery

Hi all! I am relatively new here so I wonder what proportion of you are traditional archers?
I am a longbow/flatbow/ancient bowperson myself but I also shoot recurve at least twice a week.

Hi eeyore!
It perhaps isn't the exact same question, but the results of a previous poll on the subject HERE may give you an idea - a fair representation of the break-down I'd guess.

Trad Shooters

Hi Warbow ! I am not aware of any "traditional only" clubs. However I recommend you join the SPTA (society for the promotion of traditional archery).
Here you will find many like minded archers.

Good shooting and if you are ever in the Surrey area give me a shout and perhaps we could fling a few arrers together.

Celtic Harmony near Hertford is a nice friendly longbow club. (Field Archery in woodland, but we have targets out on the field for warm up, practice, teaching etc)
Ok, we test out the odd primitive or horse bow etc as it's somewhere safe to test bows. (I even gave my Chinese Repeating Crossbow a brief outing as a demo'.)
