i would say this one is for field archers mainly

We have an archer in my Uni club who wears either a flat cap or a deerstalker... but he is Northern.

Yes it's the same Pauline and she's been wearing the same Deerstalker for a very long time.

Another great GB Intenational Archer from the 1960s and 70's who shot in a deerstalker was my namesake Paul Taylor, he was from Cheshire ( Winnington Park Bowmen ).

I have a press cutting with Paul Taylor plus deerstalker pus very long sideburns from NCAS Champs held on our old ground in York when I was 16. It's the weekend I got my JMB,happy days.

There is a photograph in the British Archer of November '75 ish, showing a line-up of handsome devils of the Oxford University Company of Archers, of whom the then President, Jonathan Bray of 'Uddersfield, always shot in a deerstalker. Lost track of him now.

If you look in Archery UK,Winter 2007 page 12, what colour would you say it is?
