Having been out half the oudoor season following shoulder surgery - and a few crap attempts to get back into shooting and competitions - double rose - which was agony and plagued with equipment failure between knocking my sight, screws coming out my cam and some crap scores. ahh i,m bored already! Had surgery on tuesday there to repair my shoulder joint so won't be able to shoot for at least 4 weeks. I was going to wait to the indoor season as i hate indoors and don't mind missing some shooting time then but recently my shoulder has become worse so decided to go get it done earlier. I,ve had to cancel some comps but hope to be able to shot by start of june for a double york even if i managed one day i'll be happy.

At least i won't make an idiot of myself...

Well i had a laugh today at the shoot at the grange today even though i didn't shoot i had a good laugh pretending to be a judge and keep that unruly lot in order. Shot for a wee while - enjoyed shooting the balloons that's my speciality.

Anyway did some bow tuning in the garden -put on my new button shot some groups and for the first time managed to get the bareshaft in the middle of the group - thanks to gerry for helping me with the tuning just need to wait and see how i...

Aw i am so annoyed having had previous shoulder injuries and worked through then i was starting too think my shoulder was getting better. How round was i! Over the past few days its been getting progressively worse - but for some reason its just feels really sore mainly with the compound. This is strange considering i had to start straight after my beginners course with a compound which makes me think somewhere along the line i have picked up a new injury. I know it is to do with the compound draw....
