Forum Shoots 2010

OK boys and girls, we have a nice little programme of shoots for your delectation this coming season. The outline looks like this:

April SWoCo - the Southwest

May SoCo - Southern Counties - Thunk organising

June ScoCo -Scotland - bkupris organising

July MooCo -Midlands

August NoCo - the North (Brrr!) - at Adel (Leeds) - Furface organising

September WaCo -Wales

October The American -at Preston - Dave organising

Those with a keen eye for detail will see that I still need volunteers to organise the shoots for SWoCo, MooCo and WaCo. Who wants to join in the fun?

Further details will be posted here as available...

Ebay: Camlink CSP50 Spotting Scope reduced to £39.95
Ebay: Spotting Scopes for the outdoor season

Don't worry, I was thinking "who'd want to take responsibility for the Waco shoot" which must win some sort of crassless award.

So long as it isn't a present or past member of either the FBI or the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Bureau), we're open to offers!

In ol' Woodsplitter's defence, when he shot the field the other week there, no arrows were lost or damaged!!!!

What's more worrying is the beginner trad shooters....especially crippled ones with SKB's and a quiver full of sticks!!!!

just pair me up with woodsplitter, I've had lots of experience supplying bruce with arrow search and rescue.

Crippled archers with SKB50's, home made arrows and zero practice are going to spend a lot of time in the shrubbery looking for arrows. They will probably bring a picnic and some beer.

Brian should also be aware that there may be quite a few number board casualties.

There was nothing wrong with my sense of direction! All of my misses went more or less straight over the top as they also did on my recent visit to Argyll Field Archers course.

to be fair to woodsplitter, he did drop every one of his overshoots in the same 6'x6' square ... pity there was about 1.5 feet of snow in that square!

DarthTer must be slipping: that comment's been there for over four hours and he hasn't reminded us all about the lost unloseable arrow.

However, I never said it would be impossible to lose, just easier to find than most other colours. Harrumph!!

Is the fear of getting lost why you wear luminous trousers while shooting? or is that just fancy dress?

Actually Brian, have you thought of making the ScoCo fancy dress? The photo opportunities could be quite spectacular!
