You have my sympathy...
In contrast, I bought some stuff from Quicks, including a shaft taper tool...it didn't cut, I tinkered with it, it still didn't cut...I phoned 'em up and told 'em. I suggested the part was molded on a worn out mold tool and asked if they could send me a replacement but of the slightly cheaper model as it looked a better design.
OK it was only a few pounds, but they sent the replacement free of charge and didn't even bother asking for the return of the old one.
Good old fashioned service where they realised I actually knew what I was talking about and didn't assume I was trying to swindle them out of a couple of pounds.
Better luck in future, and happy shooting in 2009.
